pageseoscore.com is operated by Automated Europe Limited, a company registered in England and Wales. We provide a web-based content SEO analysis tool. References to "we", "us", or "our" in this policy refer to Automated Europe Limited.

2. What data we collect
We collect only what is necessary to operate the service:
- Email address — when you sign up for the Editor or Publisher plan. Used to send a verification link and to manage your account.
- Payment data — handled entirely by Stripe. We never see or store your card details.
- Usage data — pages visited, tool interactions, and scores generated, collected via server logs and browser localStorage. No third-party analytics scripts are loaded.
- Content you paste — article drafts are processed entirely in your browser. We do not store the text you analyse unless you explicitly use the Share Report feature.
- Shared reports — if you click "Share Report", the analysis result is stored on our server with a unique URL. No personal data is attached to these files.
- Keywords — anonymised keyword strings may be logged to improve the tool's keyword database. They are not linked to your identity.
3. Legal basis for processing (UK GDPR)
- Contract performance — processing your email and payment information to provide the service you signed up for.
- Legitimate interests — server logs and anonymised usage data to maintain security and improve the tool.
- Consent — where we send marketing communications (you can unsubscribe at any time).

We do not sell your data. We do not use your data for advertising profiling.
5. Third-party services
- Stripe — payment processing. Stripe Privacy Policy
- Anthropic — AI text generation for paid features. Content sent to Anthropic is subject to their Privacy Policy. Article text is sent only when you click an AI rewrite or suggestion button; it is not sent automatically.
- Resend — transactional email delivery.
- DataForSEO — keyword volume data for the Editor plan. Keyword strings (not your identity) are sent to their API.
- Google Fonts — font delivery. Subject to Google's privacy policy.
6. Data retention
- Account data: retained while your account is active, deleted within 30 days of account closure on request.
- Shared reports: stored indefinitely unless you request deletion.
- Server logs: retained for 90 days.
- Anonymised keyword logs: retained indefinitely in aggregate form.
7. Your rights
Under UK GDPR you have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Correct inaccurate data
- Request erasure of your data
- Restrict or object to processing
- Data portability
- Withdraw consent at any time

8. Cookies and local storage
We do not use tracking cookies. We use browser localStorage and sessionStorage to store your session token, account tier, and tool preferences locally on your device. This data never leaves your browser except as part of authenticated API requests to our server.
9. Security
We use HTTPS, server-side rate limiting, and hashed tokens to protect your data. The SQLite database containing account records is stored outside the web root and is not publicly accessible.
10. Children
This service is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

We may update this policy. Material changes will be communicated by email (for registered users) or by updating the date at the top of this page.
